The LAST Week! ....For now

This Friday is going to be our last day of school! Woohoo! Although, I think that we have been cruising in about 3rd gear for a few weeks now.

I am sharpening my organization skills and laying out our upcoming curriculum plans then we will ease back in a few weeks. A lighter schedule, but keeping our brains working through reading and creation exploration.

What are you doing this Summer, if anything? I know lots of people that school year round but does anyone take the Summer off?

The Bible calls Christians to meditate on God's word, to hide it in our hearts. 

Each week we will have a scripture to memorize and seal in our hearts. Pray for God to bring clarity of mind and spirit and help us to have self-discipline. 

Week 1:  Genesis 1:1-2

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

I encourage those of you that may be new to memorization to write it down, say it out loud and do not get discouraged with yourself! Pray for HIS empowering grace to help you. I know I do! 

Let's do this and keep God's word sealed in our hearts together!
